When it comes to marketing your business, you NEVER want to be Vanilla.
Why?
Vanilla is safe. It’s traditional and conventional. But it’s BORING.
The one you pass by at the ice cream shop for something that has more “wow-factor”…
While you probably don’t hate Vanilla, let’s face it… it certainly won’t leave a lasting impression. It’s NOT memorable.
No one is EVER going to pay a lot for vanilla.
(Unless it’s made from Organic vanilla pods grown in the gardens of some Buddhist temple, under the light of the full moon, blended with milk of the world’s happiest cow, laced with gold and served up by your own personal ice-cream butler …
… but then that’s not ‘just’ vanilla anymore, right?)
Cherry pie ice cream, with REAL bits of cherry pie in, however …
Sea Salt & Caramel Explosion…
Coconut Almond Gelato with hints of fresh mint…
Now THAT commands my attention!
Here’s my point —
There will be people who are ATTRACTED to each of these flavors because they offer something so unique and SPECIFIC that they desire or resonate with.
THE EXACT SAME CONCEPT APPLIES TO YOUR HIGH-TICKET SERVICE –
People will go crazy for your service if you can:
differentiate yourself from the sea of Vanilla competitors, infuse EXACTLY what your ideal client needs to solve their problem,
*create that “wow-factor” by helping them get measurable, outstanding results
…You’ll be in demand.
…People will start to seek YOU out specifically.
…You become a high-end service, rather than a generic commodity that can be purchased anywhere.
Your service should be unapologetically UNIQUE.
NEVER do what everyone else does.
NEVER play it small.
NEVER be Vanilla.
If you struggle to create that “wow-factor” and you’re not getting a consistent flow of clients, reach out and we can help. Find Russ Ruffino and RussRuffino.com and Twitter.
