What’s your income goal?
Not what would keep the lights on, not what do you need just to survive, but what would qualify for amazing, stunning, life-changing income for you and your family?
Don’t be afraid to think big. Take that number and write it down. Really, just do it. I want that number to be just a little bit scary. So, why is it so important for you to have that? Why is it so important for your family? What could you do with that money that would be totally crazy if you did it right now? I want you to write down just one reason. Just one. It could even be a word, like, “Mom” or “Italy trip” or “Honeymoon in Bora Bora” or “Send my kid to private school.” Just write down one reason why you have to do this. Do it right now. Write down that dollar amount that you want to be earning every month, and why is it so important?
Now take that number look at it. It doesn’t matter if it’s $5,000 a month or $500,000 a month.
When I first started my goal was to make $100 a day, now I make about $16,000 a day.
This goal is a seed that you’re planting. What matters is that you are committed. Commit to making it real. Commit to being the best.

I want you to remember that word. Outcomes. Because it’s going to be really important in a minute, and it’s actually the secret sauce that lets our clients charge $3,000 to $10,000 for their work. Whether they’re in relationship coaching or teaching yoga or accounting or anything else. We’ll talk more about that in just a second.
The one thing I need you to understand is that your business is a mirror. You attract the kind of client that you are. In other words, if you’re indecisive? Guess what. You’re going to attract clients that are indecisive. If you don’t take responsibility for your own life, and your own success, you’re going to attract clients who act the same way. If you show up coachable, your clients will be coachable. If you’re decisive, your clients will be decisive. If you’re resourceful, and you’re not afraid to invest in yourself and your business, guess what? Your clients are going to step up and be resourceful too. That’s not magic, it’s just the way that the universe works.
We’re here to make money but we’re also here to make a huge difference in the lives of the people that we work with. That means you say what you mean and you mean what you say. It means you make every decision based on what will provide the most value for your clients and allow you to hit your income and your lifestyle goals.
I want you to commit right now to be the best. Building a million dollar business is much, much easier if you think of yourself as one of the best. Even if you’re just starting out. I want you to ask yourself this: What would I do if I were the best in the world? What would I do if I were here to play the game at the highest level? What would I do if I were truly committed to creating the best possible outcomes for myself and for my clients too. If you can commit to operating with total integrity, you’re going to be way ahead of 90% of the coaches and service providers out there. I’m serious about that. Just being one of the good guys, immediately puts you at the head of the pack.
The second step is to command premium pricing. Let me ask you a very important question. Write this next answer down. What is your knowledge worth? Whatever your expertise is, whether you’re a relationship coach or a fitness coach, or a business coach or an accountant or an attorney, you have answers that competitors don’t. They say this is an information economy, but I’m going to tell you something. In the 21st century information has become absolutely worthless. The reason is because you can Google just about anything you want, and you can get the answer in about five seconds for free. Selling information is dead.
But here’s the thing, people don’t want information, they want transformation.
They don’t want to read another book about how to get in shape. They want to actually be in shape. They don’t want to browse an article about having a better relationship. They want to actually have one. How can you get them there? How can you help your clients to learn how to transform others?
